CTP Cartons & Labels Ad 2017
The CTP Packaging Group, comprising of SA Litho Label Printers and CTP Cartons & Labels, requested a group ad concept to be created (including copywriting and design). The concept would need to be devised so that each of the two companies still had their own identity. We had to focus on the quality and detail that the companies are able to produce, as well as their abilities to innovate in order to adapt to each of their client's unique packaging requirements. The idea was to conceptualise strong headlines for each of the company ads and to apply it to the type of packaging each company provides ie: labels for SA Litho and cartons for CTP Cartons & Labels. To draw attention to the quality of the print techniques each company provides, the layout is a close-up focus of the typographic layout of the headline. On approval of the concept and rough ad layouts, we then proceeded to the next stage of the creative process: For SA Litho: to create the 3D realistic graphic rendering of the label design on a bottle lying on a black textured piece of paper. The typographic layout of the headline has been rendered to look like it is gold foiled and embossed. For CTP Cartons & Labels: to create the 3D realistic graphic rendering of one of their innovative cartons sitting on a black textured piece of paper. The typographic layout of the headline has been rendered to look like it is gold foiled and embossed.
