This lady is a creative genius. She takes the time to gain an understanding of the designs of the clients that she works for, and presents them with a creative solution that is fit for purpose. Nicky has designed for our business for the past 8 years and in more recent times we have used her across two other divisions within our group. Throughout the years, her work has remained fresh, current and she has consistently delivered on the briefs given to her....and being as creative as she is, she has pushed us, a fairly conservative manufacturing business, beyond our traditional boundaries, delivering campaigns that WOW!
Working together for as long as we have, we run the risk of campaigns looking the same, having a similar look and feel and somehow losing the impact we need. We tried other designers but have always returned to Love & Design. Nicky ha a talent for gaining a deeper understanding of our end goals and presents designs based on achieving this. She is more than a designer, she is creative strategist that applies graphic capability to support your business objectives.
Hire her... you will not be disappointed.
CTP PRINTERS HR Department called us in to brief us to help them with an internal company campaign. They needed to educate their staff working on the factory floor about the potential hazards that surround them on a daily basis. The best way to communicate these hazards would be through A1 posters that could be hung from the high factory rafters as well as A3 posters distributed around key congregational points around the plant. Because of the low literacy rate of the staff, we were instructed to come up with a way to communicate each of the relevant hazards in the most straight and direct manner possible. It was a no brainer that we had to go with illustrations to explain the hazards. We believed we needed a mascot for the brand to act as the spokesperson for the campaign so we created a very simplistic little "C" man character (C standing for "Caxton" which is the parent brand to which CTP Printers belongs).
Once the posters had been displayed for a timespan, we then conceptualised to design an illustration combining all the hazards. This became part of an A3 printed sheet that was distributed as a competition entry form for staff to identify the hazards then stand a chance to win a prize.
